Tsume has a strong sense of right and wrong, but she is an exclusionary type and friendships don't come easily. She suffers from Amnesia, that means she doesn't remember what had happened in the past, sometimes she hears screaming in her head and she sees really briefly different pictures from her past, like a puzzle.

Because of that, she was left alone (part of the story), sometimes she is really scared among many humans. She likes to be alone and she is really glad when she has time for herself. The personality disorder makes itself really noticeable and that influences many people around her, not many want a "personality-disorderd-amnesia-girl".

Story Part 1 

Tsume is the last of her clan and the Yōkai race. Before the whole clan was destroyed, she lived peacefully with them in a distant place where no one lived. The Yōkais have got a bad reputation because they are a class of supernatural "monsters" in different types. They also have a spiritual supernatural power, so that encounters with them are mostly dangerous. Often they possess animal features, other times they can appear mostly human and others have no discernible shape. Tsume is one of them who transform into another shape (Wolf-Type), she is like a shapeshifter. Her parents always thought that Tsume will have a split personality because of her "angry" Wolf inside her. You had to be a born Yōkai to come with a special seal into the world. Tsumes seal was in her brown right eye, her parents sealed her special Yōkai-Energy in her eye and in the first 3 years they could see which "power" Tsume had (shapeshifter). She was one of the strongest child from the beginning. The healing of the protest needed different times, and Tsume was blind on her brown right eye until her 14th birthday.

Many other clans were scared of them, because of the whole power they had. People thought that the Yōkaitsus wanted to kill everyone and had no emotions, the thoughts were coming mostly from the different frightening types the Yōkais can transform into. For unexplained reasons, at one rainy night a war was started and a huge unknown other clan had destroyed the Yōkaitsu-Clan. Tsumes parents were to save the little 5 old Tsume, but the only thing they could do is encasing her in a special Yōkai-Protection before they disappeared.

Tsumes eye turns blind 2 hours before she turns into the shape because the Yōkai seal was sealed in Tsumes brown eye. She can't control herself when she's transform into. She has to leave when she notices that she can't see as well as before because when Tsume is in this form she forgets about everything she knows and she gets something similar to another personality and when she's normal again she doesn't remember what she's done in this shape. The shape can pass on for over 5 - 10 days, when it's over she comes back but really exhausted. She has to rest for 1 week or longer because she wasted her whole energy then. Her shapeshifter thing causes the Amnesia and nobody really knows what Tsume is doing when she is gone for a while with this shape, but it's nothing good because the shape expresses the whole negative feelings and strength.

Story Part 2

So, Tsume was in this Yōkai-Protection (in a forest) for 1 whole year, she was in something like a deep sleep in that year but nevertheless her body starved and freezed all the time. One day in the spring when the flowers started to blossom, a man was searching medicine plant but suddenly he saw the little Tsume in this big shield around her. The man (Suma) didn't even hesitate and strechted out his hands to get Tsume out and keep her alive, he thought she was dead because of her thin and cold body. He took her to his hometown Kanoakaze (by me). It was a little town near of Konoha, but not really well-known. Suma is a really smart man and before someone noticed Tsume, he wanted to know more about her. Tsume woke up and Suma gave her food and medicine, but she didn't ever talk to him, about what had really happenend. She was such a quiet, scared and confused little girl. The only thing she always said to Suma with her little shy eyes was "Thank you, just thank you!". Suma had studied really much about the Yōkais and communication, so he knew about Tsume and her problems, but he had never talked with her about that and of course Suma   didn't    want   that   the   town   found   out   about   Tsume,   the   last of the Yōkai race, because everyone hates the Yōkais and wants to see this "monsters" dead. Suma   lived alone  and   didn't   really  have enough   friends,   so Tsume never stood out in Kanoakaze. He learned so much about Tsume in this years, and he saw how afraid of other children Tsume was, so she never visited a school, because of that she can't read and write very well.  Suma was like a father to Tsume since he had saved her, he understood her although she didn't really talk to him very much, and Suma was always trying to heal her brown right eye. At least he "adopted" her, and Tsumes eye is cured.
